VLC actually does a great job at this. Follow these steps: Copy the YouTube URL Open VLC and select from the Menu, Media-> Convert / Save Click on the network tab and paste in the YouTube URL and click Convert and Save.

I would like to download non copyrighted videos and convert them to MP3. Is there a recommended tool I can use to do this? A lot of the tools online are very spammy with ads. I’m looking for a tool which can be downloaded onto the machine and converted all locally. Thanks! 🙂
I too am very interested in peoples best settings and thoughts on ripping audio files. If I'm gonna perform I review the files to make sure of the quality, and have no complaints or people noticing the difference. If the quality doesn't sound good then, I'll go to my second go to software SoulSeeq and usually can find the most common tracks
